The story

As described in a film review, Captain Clive Branch of the United States Marine Corps is stationed with the garrison in Haiti, where he is conducting affairs with the wives of two fellow officers. When one of the husbands, after threatening to expose Branch, is mysteriously murdered in the dark, he comes under suspicion of the killing. However, the audience is led to believe that one of the wives is the murderer and the wrong man will pay the penalty.
