Full plot (contains spoilers)
The film tells the story of six dancers, each living for their one and only dream: to conquer the stage. They must overcome themselves and their circumstances, recognize their abilities, face fierce competition for the judges’ and audience’s approval, and experience the euphoria of victory and the support of like-minded people, the joy of realizing how much they have grown, injuries, disappointments, hope, strength, and inner motivation—all in order to prepare and perform their Solo. “This film is not just about dance, but also about a dream and the strength of the human spirit. It is, in a way, a tribute to those who want not only to express themselves, but also to convey their feelings, emotions, and unique energy to others,” the director says. The film features dance styles including classical ballet, vogue, contemporary, hip-hop, pole dance, and krump.
