Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a father in Honduras loses his children to a trafficking ring, Tim Ballard, a U.S. agent, begins a desperate search for them. He eventually tracks the trail to Colombia, where he teams up with a former cartel accountant and a local officer. They pose as traffickers to infiltrate a large-scale operation run by a woman named Katy Juarez. While they successfully rescue many children, one girl, Rocío, is missing. Ballard learns she was sold to a FARC camp in the Amazon. He travels alone into the jungle, where he finds her being held as a slave for a leader known as El Alacrán. Ballard kills the leader and rescues Rocío, eventually returning her to her family in Honduras. The film concludes with Ballard testifying before Congress, leading to new laws regarding international cooperation against sex trafficking.
