Spiel mir das Lied und du bist tot! (2008)

The two brothers, Bobby-John-Joe and Billy-Bob-Earl St. John, live with their alcoholic mother on a farm in the Wild West. Suddenly, their long-lost father, Jerry-Lee-Larry, reappears. He had disappeared twenty years earlier with his daughter, Jill-Sarah-Mae-Jennifer. He claims that Jill was kidnapped. But it turns out that Pa is a wanted crook. Ma St. John sends her sons to town to have the sheriff pick him up. Instead, however, the sheriff arrests the brothers: their father has managed to frame them for his own crimes, and they end up in jail. Their grandfather, Al Oratio Fitzpatrick St. John, gets them out, but only so he can hand them over to his friend, the county marshal of Stinkyville, and collect the reward offered for the two of them. At the last minute, they are freed when Jill cuts through the ropes Billy and Bobby were supposed to be hanged with by firing her rifle. Jill tells her brothers her version of the story: she was not kidnapped, but sold by her father to a football team. But Billy does not trust her and leaves Bobby and Jill. He joins Jesse James’s gang and eventually ends up at the gallows again. This time, Ma, Bobby, and Jill free him together. By now the whole family is wanted, so the marshal, two deputies, Grandpa, and Pa St. John try to storm the farm. But Pa takes his family’s side, and they overpower the attackers, with the exception of Grandpa. Grandpa, however, gives himself away with a slip of the tongue, revealing that he planned the robberies with his son.
