A private detective must enter a dangerous virtual-reality game to rescue his sister from a villainous toy maker.
The story
Over a year after the events of the second film, Juni Cortez has retired from the OSS and now works as a private detective. He is contacted by President Devlin, the former head of the OSS, who informs him that his sister, Carmen Cortez, is missing. Juni learns she is trapped in a virtual-reality based video game called Game Over, created by the Toymaker, a former OSS informant. To save her, Juni must enter the game, navigate through various levels, and shut down the system before the Toymaker can use it to control the minds of the world's youth.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After his sister Carmen is trapped in the virtual-reality game 'Game Over' by the Toymaker, private detective Juni Cortez enters the game to rescue her. He is joined by his grandfather Valentin, who receives a robotic suit for strength, and several other players. As they progress through levels, Juni faces various challenges, including a robot battle arena and a race. He forms a bond with a program named Demetra, who is later revealed to be 'The Deceiver.' Upon reaching Level 4, Juni finds Carmen, but the Toymaker's forces begin to overwhelm them. After a deceptive 'real' player is trapped, the group escapes the game into the real world, only to find the Toymaker's robot army has followed them into the city. Juni calls upon his allies to help fight the robots. In the final confrontation, Valentin confronts the Toymaker and offers him forgiveness. Touched by this, the Toymaker shuts down his machines and joins the Cortez family in celebration.
