A retired spy must team up with her stepchildren to stop a villain from using a time-travel device to rewrite the past.
The story
OSS agent Marissa Wilson, who is nine months pregnant, pursues a criminal named Tick Tock to retrieve a mini-disk containing information on a dangerous weapon called Project Armageddon. After capturing Tick Tock, Marissa returns home to her husband Wilbur and her two stepchildren, Rebecca and Cecil. However, a criminal mastermind known as the Time Keeper begins accelerating time globally, demanding the Chronos Sapphire—a jewel in Rebecca's necklace. Marissa is forced out of retirement to retrieve the Sapphire, leading to a strained relationship with Rebecca as the family is thrust into a high-stakes mission to save the world from the Time Keeper's demands.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Marissa Wilson, an OSS agent, captures Tick Tock and retrieves a disk regarding Project Armageddon. After giving birth to Maria, Marissa lives with her husband Wilbur and stepchildren Rebecca and Cecil. The Time Keeper emerges, demanding the Chronos Sapphire from Rebecca's necklace to unleash Project Armageddon. Marissa is called back into service. Rebecca swaps the Sapphire for baby food, and the twins flee to OSS headquarters where they meet Carmen and Juni Cortez. The twins discover Tick Tock's lair and learn the Sapphire saved a boy frozen in time. After being captured and rescued, Wilbur discovers Marissa's secret identity and is fired. The twins identify the Time Keeper as Danger D'Amo, the OSS leader. Danger reveals he was the boy frozen in time and wants to use the Armageddon Device to return to his father. After a battle where the twins convince him to value the present, Danger returns from the past as an old man and powers off the device. Wilbur reunites with his family, and Carmen and Juni announce a revived Spy Kids program.
