Stand-by (2000)

After eight years of living together, Gérard and Hélène decide to settle in Buenos Aires, Argentina. But at Orly Airport, just as they are about to board, Gérard tells his partner that he is leaving her, that he no longer loves her, and that he is going alone. In shock, Hélène pulls herself together and decides to stay at the airport. She has sex with travelers in transit for money, awkwardly at first, then more boldly. Having become a familiar figure at Orly and formed a connection with a bartender, she thus begins her strange life as a sleepwalker, which ultimately may seem like a liberating journey of initiation.
