The story
The Trade Federation blockades the planet Naboo in secret preparation for a full-scale invasion, disrupting order in the Galactic Republic. The Republic's leader, Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum, dispatches Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi to negotiate with Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray. They must navigate a burgeoning conflict while protecting Padmé Amidala. Amidst the tension, they encounter a young, Force-sensitive slave, Anakin Skywalker, whose presence hints at the mysterious return of the Sith. The group must navigate political intrigue and physical danger to resolve the trade dispute and ensure the safety of the Naboo people.

The Trade Federation blockades Naboo, leading the Republic to send Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi to negotiate with Viceroy Nute Gunray. Under the influence of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, the Viceroy initiates an invasion. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan escape to Naboo, where Qui-Gon rescues Jar Jar Binks. They reach the capital, Theed, and rescue Queen Padmé Amidala. After their ship is damaged, they land on Tatooine. There, they encounter Anakin Skywalker, a gifted young slave. Qui-Gon identifies Anakin as the 'Chosen One' and wins his freedom in a podrace. They are attacked by Darth Maul, Sidius's apprentice, but escape. On Coruscant, the Jedi Council refuses to train Anakin due to his age. Amidala faces a political crisis and returns to Naboo. A battle ensues against the droid army; Anakin accidentally destroys the droid control ship. During the conflict, Darth Maul kills Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan defeats him. Following the victory, Palpatine is elected Chancellor, and Obi-Wan becomes a Jedi Knight, taking Anakin as his apprentice.
