Vincent and Antoine, two fans of the 1980s, run a small entertainment company that sends impersonators all over France. Between romantic setbacks and the whims of their pseudo-stars, the business eventually starts to fail. On the eve of filing for bankruptcy, they come across a box of old 45s: Jeanne Mas, Jean-Luc Lahaye, Lio, Desireless, Peter & Sloane, François Feldman, Début de soirée, Images, Cookie Dingler, Sabrina, Gilbert Montagné—all the hits of the 1980s. The spark immediately catches: why not bring the real stars of the 1980s back on stage? The two producers then set out to track down these forgotten stars and put together a concert tour that will get off to a rough start before becoming a hit in the provinces and triumphing at the Stade de France.
