The story
The Andersson and Blixt families are preparing to celebrate Midsummer together at the home of Karin’s aunt Hulda. Just before they are due to leave, Sophie breaks up with Sune. Determined to win her back, Sune makes a plan for the two of them to have a truly romantic Midsummer, inspired by the celebration his parents had 20 years earlier. His efforts raise a question: is he focusing too much on making the occasion go his way, rather than considering what other people want?
