Full plot (contains spoilers)
Summer vacation has arrived, and Sune and his family have to decide where to go. His father, Rudolf, wants a wilderness vacation; his little brother, Håkon, wants to go to Farawayistan with Donald Duck; his older sister, Anna, wants to ride the Trans-Siberian Railway; and his mother, Karin, wants to go to Greece. Sune himself wants to go to Sicily because he has been told there are lots of cute girls there. After the family compete in various ways to see who can get the most votes, Karin wins with her suggestion of Greece. Soon, new neighbors move into Sune’s neighborhood, and he is attracted to the new girl, Sofie. The trip to Greece is not easy for Sune’s family, though. His little sister, Isabel, is often forgotten, the trip turns out to be too expensive, and more problems arise when Sune’s father buys a caravan. Meanwhile, Sune plans to impress Sofie by giving her earrings, but he is constantly challenged by an evil man on a motorcycle.
