The Super Troopers—Thorny, Farva, Rabbit, Mac, and Foster—gather for the wedding of Farva to Thorny's sister, Sarita. Thorny attempts to sabotage the union by exposing Farva's character, while the group deals with a new drug called 'Canadian Crystal.' During a bachelor party, the new captain, Markowski, hallucinates after eating mushroom-filled chocolates. Meanwhile, Mac discovers that local dealers, the Buchanans, are producing the drug under the guise of wedding planners. After a series of mishaps involving a malfunctioning electric car and a confrontation with the Buchanans, a gunfight ensues. Mac reveals the Buchanans' scheme, and Rabbit kills the traitorous rookie, Coy. In the end, Thorny discovers he was responsible for a past accident involving Sarita, but Farva confesses his own actions. The film concludes with a series of reconciliations and a post-credits scene where Captain O'Hagan reveals he is searching for hidden gold.
