Full plot (contains spoilers)
In the late 1980s, as the police and young people from housing estates clash violently, some of them turn to rap to express the anger simmering in the suburbs. Among them are two young men from Seine-Saint-Denis, soon to be known as JoeyStarr and Kool Shen, who will form the group Suprême NTM and become, despite themselves, the spokesmen for a generation. Their growing success and fame will lead them to perform for the first time at the Zénith de Paris in 1992.
