Two look-alike boys from sharply different families decide to trade lives.
The story
Danny and Ludwig, two boys of the same age who look almost identical, meet by chance at an amusement park. After other people mistake them for one another, they decide to switch roles. The arrangement puts each in a very different family life: Danny's family has just enough money to get by and is close-knit, while Ludwig's wealthy parents rarely take an interest in him. As they experience each other's circumstances, Ludwig discovers what it is like to grow up in a loving home, and Danny gets a taste of luxury. Danny's foster sister Lilly becomes suspicious when she senses something is wrong.

By chance, the two boys, Danny and Ludwig, meet at an amusement park and discover that they look almost identical and are the same age. Naturally, it isn’t long before they are mistaken for each other, giving the boys the idea to switch roles. But even though they look alike on the surface, their families are different. Danny’s family has just enough money to get by, while Ludwig comes from a family in which money has never been an issue, since there has always been more than enough. Danny’s family is close-knit, whereas Ludwig’s parents rarely take an interest in him. At last, Ludwig learns what it is like to grow up in a loving environment, while Danny enjoys a life of luxury and wealth. But Danny’s foster sister Lilly notices that something is wrong with her brother. Although at first she suspects that aliens who steal bodies are to blame, she eventually figures out what the two boys have done.
