The story

After World War III (or the Terror Wars), governments dissolved. Megacorporations took over and fought for control until eight survived and divided their territories, with North America falling under the control of the strongest company - the Tekken Corporation. In order to maintain peace and power, the corporations began hosting an annual fighting tournament known as "Iron Fist" (named after the corporations' collective name).
