The story
Nami Tsuchiya is a nurse who dreams of marrying Kenichi Ota, a photographer with whom she lives. One night, two patients summon her and attempt to rape her. She runs home in shock, only to see Kenichi embracing Mako, a model, and flees. At the same time, Tetsuro Muraki, a securities broker driven from his home and company over embezzlement, hits Nami with his car. He takes her along as he drives, but she regains consciousness and escapes, setting off a pursuit.

Nami Tsuchiya, a nurse, dreams of marrying Kenichi Ota, a photographer she lives with. One night, two patients who have called her in as a nurse try to rape her. When she runs home, she sees Kenichi embracing Mako, a model, and, in shock, rushes out of the house. Around the same time, Tetsuro Muraki, a securities broker who has been driven out of both his home and his company for embezzlement, hits Nami with his car. He puts her in the car and drives on, but she regains consciousness and escapes. He chases after her anyway and, weeping, rapes her; gradually, she loses the will to resist. Later, Muraki leaves her behind to buy gasoline, but is killed by yakuza on the way. The story ends with Nami listening to “Tennessee Waltz” as she cries.
