The story

The film dramatises three stories from the book: In "The Granton Star Cause", a comedy, Boab is an aimless layabout having a rotten day. His parents throw him out of the house so they can indulge in sado-masochism, and he is sacked from his job, dumped by his girlfriend, and dropped from his football team. Moping at a bar, Boab is approached by a profane stranger claiming to be God who berates him for his wasted life and transforms him into a housefly as punishment.
