Thirteen years later, the family lives in isolation until a reality TV host, Margaux Needler, discovers their home. Margaux attempts to ruin the family's reputation by spreading rumors on social media, while the children, Wednesday and Pugsley, navigate the complexities of their unique traditions and the intrusion of the outside world. As tensions rise between the two families, the Addamses must decide how much of their macabre identity they are willing to compromise for the sake of their community.

After being exiled from their wedding by a mob, the Addams family settles in an abandoned asylum in New Jersey. Thirteen years later, Gomez prepares Pugsley for his 'Sabre Mazurka' while Morticia tries to keep Wednesday from exploring the outside world. Meanwhile, reality TV host Margaux Needler discovers the mansion and attempts to brand the family as freaks on social media. Wednesday befriends Margaux's daughter, Parker, and the two eventually discover that Margaux has planted hidden cameras throughout the town. During the Mazurka, a mob attacks the mansion, but Pugsley uses his love of explosives to defend the family.
