A young reporter and his dog embark on a global quest to uncover the secrets of a legendary pirate ship.

The story

In 1940s Brussels, young journalist Tintin and his pet dog Snowy encounter a mysterious ship model known as the Unicorn. After a series of events leads to the discovery of a hidden scroll, Tintin finds himself in a race against a dangerous collector, Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine. Joined by the boisterous Captain Haddock, the trio must navigate a perilous journey across the sea and through the desert to uncover the truth behind the treasure of the Unicorn and outsmart those who seek its power.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

In 1940s Brussels, Tintin and his dog Snowy find a model of the Unicorn ship, which contains a secret scroll. They are pursued by Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine, who seeks the treasure of the ship. Tintin joins forces with the drunken Captain Haddock. After escaping a mutiny on the SS Karaboudjan and surviving a desert crash, they travel toward the port of Bagghar. They eventually track Sakharine back to Brussels, where a final confrontation occurs. The film concludes with Tintin and Haddock discovering a hidden chamber in Marlinspike Hall containing a portion of the treasure and a clue to the remaining lost riches.
