The story
The Chronicles of Riddick follows the adventures of Riddick, a notorious wanted fugitive, as he attempts to elude capture and face an invading empire. After a crew of bounty hunters led by Toombs arrives at the planet U.V. 6 to hunt him down, Riddick defeats them and learns of the location of his hiding place on Helion Prime. Upon reaching Helion Prime, he encounters an old acquaintance, Abu al-Walid, just as the planet is attacked by the Necromongers, a group of religious fanatics seeking to convert all human life. Riddick must navigate this escalating conflict while evading the forces of the invading empire.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After defeating a bounty hunter crew on U.V. 6, Riddick travels to Helion Prime to find Abu al-Walid. He discovers the planet is being invaded by the Necromongers, led by the Lord Marshal. During the siege, Riddick is identified as a Furyan survivor and captured by Toombs, who takes him to the prison moon Crematoria. There, Riddick encounters Kyra, a girl he rescued years prior. Amidst a three-way conflict between prisoners, guards, and Necromongers on Crematoria, Riddick escapes and eventually finds himself on the Necromongers' flagship. He faces the Lord Marshal in a final confrontation. After Kyra sacrifices herself to wound the Lord Marshal, Riddick kills the leader. The surviving Necromongers, including the commander Vaako, acknowledge Riddick as their new leader.
