A group of teenage girls must navigate the dangers of practicing witchcraft as a coven in a modern setting.
The story
Lily Schechner moves into a new home with her mother and a new family. At her new school, after being mocked by classmates, she accidentally uses telekinesis to push a bully into lockers. This act is witnessed by three other girls who reveal themselves as fellow witches. They invite Lily to join their coven, and with the fourth member, they can perform complex rituals. However, the girls must navigate the consequences of their magic and the growing dangers that come with wielding such power in their everyday lives.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Lily Schechner moves into a new home with her mother, Helen, and a new family. After a bullying incident leads her to use telekinesis, she is recruited by three other girls into a coven of witches. The girls experiment with their powers, including levitation and casting a spell on a boy named Timmy. After a series of events involving a love spell and a tragic misunderstanding, the girls' bond is tested. Lily eventually discovers that her mother's partner, Adam, is actually a member of a pagan cult who has been hunting her for her powers. After Adam murders Timmy and kidnaps Lily, her friends find her and they use their elemental powers to defeat and burn Adam to death. Following the conflict, Lily reconciles with her friends and learns the truth about her birth mother.
