Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a career-ending injury, stuntman Colt Seavers is hired by producer Gail Meyer to find missing action star Tom Ryder before his absence ruins his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno's directorial debut, Metalstorm. In Sydney, Colt navigates a series of dangerous encounters, including a hallucination-laced trap and a confrontation with a security team. He eventually discovers a video showing Tom accidentally killed a stunt double, but Gail is using deepfake technology to frame Colt for the crime. After a high-stakes chase and a boat pursuit where Colt is presumed dead, he survives and returns to the set to prove his innocence. He and Jody manage to trick Tom into a confession while he is recorded. In the climax, they stop Gail from escaping with Tom in a helicopter. The film ends with the success of Metalstorm, Colt and Jody reuniting, and a mid-credits scene showing the survival of the antagonists.
