The story
Three years after Dan Morgan defeated his father and imprisoned him, Dan now runs his own private security firm while his wife, Jessica, is a triathlete coach. When Jessica is offered a promotion that requires the family to move to Ohio, Dan feels his family is drifting apart. During a trip to see their daughter Nina in London, Dan encounters his half-brother, Finn, who is seeking a digital key to their father's legacy. When Finn threatens Dan's family, the group becomes fugitives, forced to flee from both Finn's men and the authorities while trying to keep their family together.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After becoming fugitives, Dan and his family flee to Paris to reach his childhood home and destroy his father's network. They seek help from Dan's former contact, Svetlana Romanova. In Paris, Dan confronts Finn, who admits he was abandoned by their father. After a period of forced cooperation, Svetlana betrays them to collect a bounty, but warns them of incoming assassins. The family escapes a car chase and Dan devises a plan to infiltrate his home. While Nina and her colleagues protest outside to create a distraction, Dan and Omar infiltrate the rooftops to disable security. Inside, Dan uses a flash drive created by Kyle to infect and destroy Finn's servers. After a final confrontation where Dan defeats Finn, the family is briefly detained by police but cleared by Omar's father, the Secretary General of Interpol. Eleven months later, the family is settled in Ohio, and Dan makes peace with Finn in prison.
