Two elite snipers are ordered to guard opposite sides of a mysterious, high-security gorge without any contact with the outside world.

The story

The Gorge follows the story of two elite snipers, Levi Kane and Drasa, who are assigned to guard opposite sides of a remote, top-secret gorge. They are instructed to remain in their respective towers for a year without any communication with each other or the outside world. Levi, a former U.S. Marine suffering from PTSD, and Drasa, a Lithuanian covert operative, must maintain their posts while being warned of the dangers within the gorge. The area is protected by powerful cloaking antennas and armed systems designed to contain monstrous creatures known as 'The Hollow Men.' As they endure the isolation, the two snipers must contend with the mystery of the site and the threats lurking within the gorge.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Two elite snipers, Levi Kane and Drasa, are stationed in opposite towers of a remote, top-secret gorge, forbidden from communicating. Levi is a former U.S. Marine with PTSD, while Drasa is a Lithuanian operative. They are warned that the gorge contains 'The Hollow Men,' monstrous creatures, and that the site is protected by cloaking technology. After months of isolation, they begin to communicate via signs and eventually meet in person, forming a bond. When a breach occurs, they discover the gorge contains a World War II bioweapons lab where soldiers were mutated into monsters. They discover the 'Straydog' protocol—a nuclear fail-safe—and realize they are being hunted by the corporation 'Darklake' that manages the site. After a confrontation with Darklake forces and the activation of the nuclear fail-safe, the site is destroyed. Drasa eventually finds a scarred but alive Levi in France, where they reunite.
