The story

Young Robert "Bibi" Bonnard is raised in Ottawa, Ontario with his parents, Jacques and Susan, and his grandfather, Grandpère. Louis is anxious about meeting his prospective son-in-law, Alfred Grattin, a teetotaler bank clerk.
