Eight strangers seek refuge from a blizzard in a stagecoach stopover, leading to a tense and violent standoff.
The story
In the 1870s, bounty hunter and Union Army veteran Major Marquis Warren travels toward Red Rock, Wyoming Territory, with three bounty corpses. When his horse fails and a blizzard strikes, he hitches a ride on a stagecoach. The carriage carries several others, including bounty hunter John Ruth and the fugitive Daisy Domergue. Seeking safety from the storm, the group finds refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery. Inside the lodge, they encounter several locals and strangers, including a local hangman and a Confederate general. As the blizzard rages outside, the atmosphere inside becomes increasingly tense as the group's true motives and identities begin to surface among the huddled survivors.

In the 1870s, Major Marquis Warren travels to Red Rock with three corpses. During a blizzard, he joins a stagecoach containing John Ruth, Daisy Domergue, and others. They take shelter at Minnie's Haberdashery, where they encounter local figures like Oswaldo Mobray and Joe Gage. Tensions peak when Ruth and Warren discover the others' secrets. A plot to poison the coffee leads to the deaths of O.B. Jackson and the realization that several characters are hiding in the building. A flashback reveals that a group of men had already murdered the haberdashery's owners. In the present, a standoff ensues between Warren and Chris Mannix. After a series of violent confrontations and revelations about the identities of the 'haberdashery' staff, the survivors are forced into a deadly game of survival.
