A professional dancer with a chronic neurological condition travels to a Mediterranean island and finds herself torn between a forbidden romance and her mother's corporate interests.

The story

Houston-based professional dancer Oriah "Ry" Pera suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, which has caused her to develop epilepsy. Despite her mother Isolde's urging to undergo a risky surgery that could cause memory loss, Ry prefers to manage her condition with medication. When Isolde's work takes them to the island of Mallorca, Ry meets a local fisherman named Julian Garcia. While exploring the island, Ry begins to fall for Julian, but she soon discovers that her mother is involved in a property project that threatens the livelihood of the local fishing community, creating a conflict between her personal feelings and her family's business.

After Julian is roughed up by loan sharks and Ry reveals her mother's involvement, Julian initially tells her to leave. However, after a series of events including a gala fundraiser, Julian forgives her. Ry eventually undergoes the surgery, losing her memories.
