Full plot (contains spoilers)
Rebecca, a woman with a troubled past, takes a night shift at a mortuary. After experiencing hallucinations and a violent, involuntary confrontation with her sponsor, Kelly, Rebecca is told by her boss, Raymond, that the mortuary is safer. During the night, she experiences a lapse in consciousness where her eyes turn yellow and she becomes aggressive. Raymond eventually instructs her to perform specific rituals, such as burning bodies and finding tapes in the basement. These tapes reveal that to stop demons, they must be embalmed with reagent and burned. Rebecca eventually finds a woman in a box who is revealed to be a long-dead woman whose blood is used to prevent others' deaths. In the end, Raymond tells Rebecca she will never be free of the demons but can learn to live above the fear. The film concludes with Rebecca leaving the mortuary, smiling at the world while a demonic figure watches her from the brush.
