A soldier of fortune must stop an ancient Egyptian princess from unleashing a powerful deity upon the modern world.
The story
In the present day, a soldier of fortune named Nick Morton and his companion Chris Vail discover the tomb of the ancient Egyptian princess Ahmanet in Iraq. Their intrusion awakens the princess, who was mummified alive for her crimes in the past. As Ahmanet begins to rise and seek power, Nick and a British archaeologist, Jenny Halsey, must work together to contain her. The situation escalates when the pair must navigate a conspiracy involving a secret society and a mysterious figure who may be using the chaos to further his own agenda.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
In ancient Egypt, Princess Ahmanet is mummified for attempting to free the deity Set. In modern Iraq, Nick Morton and Chris Vail unearth her tomb, bringing her back to life. During a flight to Britain, Chris is possessed and killed, and the plane crashes. Ahmanet begins feeding on people to regenerate her body. Nick and Jenny, an agent of the secret society Prodigium, discover that Dr. Henry Jekyll intends to let Set possess Nick to make the god vulnerable. After a series of battles in London, Ahmanet gathers an army of zombies and attempts to free Set using a ruby and a dagger. In a final confrontation in the London Underground, Nick tricks Ahmanet into letting him get close, where he shatters the ruby and stabs himself, allowing him to be possessed by Set. Nick then uses Set's power to kill Ahmanet and revive Jenny. The film ends with Nick, now fused with Set, returning to the desert to find a cure for his condition.
