The story
Russell Pierce, a veteran armored car driver nearing retirement, and Travis Stolly, a rookie who aspires to be a police officer, team up for the first time on duty. While on duty, criminal mastermind Zoe ambushes them with Banner and Miguel. During the intense chase and being outmatched, Russell attempts to surrender the money from the truck for their life but discovering that the supposed money they are transporting are full of contraband. Zoe ultimately manages to hijack the armored car, revealing her goal is to rob the armored vehicle itself to facilitate a larger plan.

Russell Pierce, a veteran armored car driver, and Travis Stolly, a rookie police aspirant, are ambushed by criminal mastermind Zoe, Banner, and Miguel. After a chase where Russell discovers the truck's cargo is contraband, Zoe hijacks the vehicle. She reveals she needs the truck to rob a casino for $60 million to avenge her father, who died in a casino fire without compensation. During the heist, Russell's wife Natalie is taken hostage. They successfully steal the cash, but are pursued by police and the surviving Banner and Miguel. After a final chase ending in an explosion at an airstrip, Zoe escapes in a plane, and Russell reunites with Natalie. Six months later, Travis becomes a deputy sheriff and Russell retires to run a bed and breakfast, both receiving a share of the money from Zoe.
