The story
Frank Castle, the brutal vigilante known as the Punisher, is haunted by the ghosts of his past while attempting to move on from his life of violence after avenging his family. However, he is drawn back into a dangerous conflict by the crime lord Ma Gnucci. Set in the neighborhood of Little Sicily, Castle must navigate a landscape overrun by crime and a deadly bounty placed on his head. As he faces the consequences of his actions and the reality of his isolation, he must decide if he can find a new purpose or if he will be consumed by the cycle of violence that defines his existence.

Frank Castle, the Punisher, lives in a Little Sicily apartment complex where he is haunted by hallucinations of his past. After attempting to end his life, he is confronted by Ma Gnucci, who has placed a bounty on his head for the murder of her family. A criminal army attacks his building; during the ensuing chaos, Castle fights his way to the roof. Instead of pursuing Gnucci, he chooses to protect a local family, including a young girl named Charli. After the conflict, he finds a new sense of purpose. He returns to the streets with a new costume and arsenal, ultimately stopping a group of thugs and killing their leader, signaling his continued role as the Punisher.
