A special forces member turned undercover agent must infiltrate a major crime syndicate to expose a web of police corruption and gang warfare.

The story

Hours after the events of the first film, police officer Rama brings his injured colleague Bowo and corrupt officer Wahyu to Lieutenant Bunawar, who is heading a secret unit investigating police corruption. Bunawar sends Bowo away for medical treatment and kills Wahyu. He then attempts to recruit Rama to help expose the extent of corrupt police commissioner Reza's operation. Initially refusing, Rama takes up the offer upon learning that his brother and mob boss Andi has been executed by rising crime lord Bejo, and that his own wife and son are now in danger. Rama is tasked with infiltrating the Bangun family, a major crime syndicate that controls Jakarta.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Following the events of the first film, Rama is recruited by Lieutenant Bunawar to infiltrate the Bangun family, a crime syndicate in Jakarta allied with the Japanese yakuza. Rama enters prison to gain the favor of Bangun's son, Uco, and eventually joins the family. Rama discovers Uco is plotting with crime lord Bejo to start a war with the Gotō yakuza. To create a pretext, Bejo's hitmen kill Bangun's enforcer, Prakoso. When Bangun refuses to retaliate, Uco kills his father and wounds his right-hand man, Eka. Rama intervenes, allowing Eka to escape, but is captured. Eka reveals he is also an undercover officer and urges Rama to take down the underworld. Gotō declares war on Bejo, Uco, and Reza. Rama storms Bejo's restaurant, singlehandedly dispatching henchmen. Uco kills Reza and Bejo, but Rama stabs him dead. Finally, Rama encounters Gotō's son, Keiichi, who offers him a position in the yakuza, which Rama declines.
