A group of police officers find their trust shattered during a high-stakes raid on a hidden drug money stash.

The story

Following the murder of Captain Jackie Velez, a specialized narcotics unit in the Miami-Dade Police Department investigates a tip regarding a hidden stash of drug cartel cash in Hialeah. Led by Lieutenant Dane Dumars, the team enters a residence where they discover $20 million. However, the atmosphere turns tense as Dumars begins to act suspiciously, withholding information and confiscating the team's phones. As the officers work to secure the money, they must navigate a web of suspicion and external threats, unsure of who among them is loyal and who is planning to betray the mission for the loot.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

After the murder of Captain Jackie Velez, Lieutenant Dane Dumars leads a narcotics team to a house in Hialeah where they find $20 million in cartel cash. Dumars intentionally creates a paranoid environment by giving different amounts of the stash to different members and confiscating their phones to bait out potential traitors. The team faces external pressure from a nearby house and internal suspicion as members like J.D. Byrne begin to suspect Dumars' motives. During a violent confrontation with a cartel lookout and a subsequent fire, the truth is revealed: Dumars was following Velez's plan to trap a 'crooked heist crew' that included DEA Agent Matty Nix and several other officers. It is revealed that Nix and his accomplices were the ones making threatening calls and setting the fire. In the final confrontation, the true thieves are apprehended, and the legitimate officers secure the cash. The film ends with Dumars and Byrne watching the sunrise in memory of Velez.
