Full plot (contains spoilers)
After being betrayed by Milady de Winter in Venice, the musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis are separated. A year later, D'Artagnan arrives in Paris and, after a series of duels, joins the three musketeers. They are summoned before King Louis XIII and are initially threatened by Cardinal Richelieu. Richelieu enlists Milady to frame Queen Anne for an affair with the Duke of Buckingham by planting false letters and a stolen diamond necklace. The musketeers, alerted by Queen Anne's lady-in-waiting Constance Bonacieux, travel to London to intercept Milady and Buckingham. D'Artagnan acts as a decoy, allowing the musketeers to reclaim the necklace from Milady. They then face a massive aerial battle against Captain Rochefort's airship. After a crash at Notre Dame, D'Artagnan defeats Rochefort and recovers the necklace. The musketeers return to Paris and convince the King of their victory. While Richelieu is forced to back down, Milady is found alive by Buckingham, who prepares for a massive invasion of France.
