The story
Thirty-year-old sound engineer Connor harbors feelings for his sardonic friend Olivia, who avoids commitment and is involved with a married man. Their mutual friend, Greg, encourages Connor to pursue a woman who was stood up for a date, who turns out to be Jenny, a graduate student. When Olivia becomes jealous and joins them, the three end up together in a shared intimate encounter. The following morning, Olivia leaves, and Connor is left to navigate his complicated feelings for both women as their lives become increasingly intertwined through a series of unexpected complications.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a threesome, Olivia leaves, and Connor begins a relationship with her, only to discover she is pregnant. He then learns that Jenny is also pregnant by him from a tryst just before he started dating Olivia. The two women eventually find out about each other's pregnancies. Amidst a series of complications involving a man named Kevin (who lied about a vasectomy) and various misunderstandings about paternity, the truth eventually emerges: Olivia's baby is Kevin's, while Jenny's is Connor's. The film concludes with Connor and Jenny co-parenting their daughter while Olivia and Connor eventually reconcile and marry.
