The story
In the town of Forks, Bella Swan finds herself caught in a growing conflict between two supernatural factions. As the threat of an army of newborn vampires, led by the vengeful Victoria, looms over the region, the possibility of an uneasy alliance between werewolves and vampires emerges. Bella must navigate her complex relationships with both the vampire Edward Cullen and the werewolf Jacob Black while the tension between the two groups escalates. With the safety of the community at stake, the Cullens and the werewolf pack must decide how to confront the approaching threat and protect Bella from the consequences of the escalating violence.

In Seattle, Victoria Sutherland creates an army of newborn vampires to seek revenge against Edward Cullen. In Forks, Bella Swan struggles with her desire to become a vampire while Edward wants her to remain human. Edward's sister, Alice, foresees the incoming army, leading to a skirmish with werewolves that heightens tensions between the two groups. Bella eventually learns of the threat from Jacob Black, leading to a period of tension between her and Edward. To defend against Victoria, the Cullens and the werewolf pack form an uneasy alliance and train together. Amidst this, Bella and Edward decide to marry. During a confrontation with the newborn army, the Cullens and werewolves fight together; Edward kills Victoria, but Jacob is injured. The Volturi, who enforce vampire laws, arrive and interrogate a survivor, Bree Tanner. Bella eventually chooses to stay with Edward, and the film concludes with her and Edward planning their wedding while discussing her feelings of belonging in his world.
