Full plot (contains spoilers)
Mike McKenna, a construction worker, is recruited by his high school sweetheart Roxanne Hall, a secret agent for "The Union." After being taken to London, Mike is briefed on a mission to retrieve a briefcase of sensitive government intelligence being auctioned in Europe. He undergoes intensive training in combat and sharpshooting in under two weeks. During the operation, the team faces threats from Iranian, North Korean, and Russian agents. After a series of skirmishes and the destruction of their headquarters, the team goes into hiding. They eventually track down Juliet Quinn to obtain the briefcase. However, Nick Faraday, a supposed deceased agent and Roxanne's former husband, appears and reveals that the Union's founder, Tom Brennan, is a mole. Nick reveals he is planning to sell the intel to the Iranians. Mike and Roxanne eventually confront Nick in Istria. After a series of chases and a standoff where Mike refuses to shoot to protect Roxanne, Nick chooses to die. The film ends with Roxanne and Mike at a wedding, where Brennan invites Mike to join them for a new mission in Morocco.
