Four estranged ninja turtles must reunite to save the world from ancient monsters released by a vengeful warlord.

The story

After defeating their arch-enemy, the Shredder, the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo—have grown apart and drifted into separate lives. Leonardo trains in Central America as a jungle protector, Donatello works as an IT specialist, Michelangelo is a birthday entertainer, and Raphael fights crime as a masked vigilante. However, their paths cross when their friend April O'Neil discovers that a wealthy tycoon, Max Winters, is using technology to search for thirteen ancient monsters. The Turtles must overcome their personal differences and reunite to stop Winters from releasing these creatures and fulfilling a dark, ancient destiny.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

In ancient times, the warlord Yaotl opened a portal to a parallel universe, granting him immortality but petrifying his four generals and releasing thirteen monsters. In the present, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have drifted apart: Leonardo is the 'Ghost of the Jungle' in Central America, Donatello is an IT tech, Michelangelo is 'Cowabunga Carl', and Raphael is the vigilante 'Nightwatcher'. April O'Neil and her boyfriend Casey Jones discover that tycoon Max Winters (actually the immortal Yaotl) is seeking the thirteen monsters to restore his generals to humanity. The Turtles reunite and, despite initial friction and Splinter's rules, engage the monsters. Raph eventually discovers Leo's identity and they face off before being captured by the generals. They eventually storm Winters' tower. While the Turtles battle the generals, Karai and the Foot Clan join forces with April and Casey to capture the final monster. Yaotl saves the Turtles as his generals are dragged into the portal and turned human. Yaotl fades into the afterlife, and the Turtles return to their roles as New York's protectors, reaffirming their bond as brothers.
