Tô Ryca! 2 (2022)

Selminha (Samantha Schmütz) is back after having received her uncle’s inheritance some years ago. Accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle, she insists on paying more for everything and flaunting her wealth wherever she goes. She has an intense relationship with Ruben (Marcello Melo Jr.), marked by misunderstandings and jealous fits. One day, her glory days are threatened by the arrival of a stranger with the same name, Selminha (Evelyn Castro), who pretends to be the rightful heir to the fortune left by her uncle. Following a court action, all of Selminha’s assets are frozen. Now she can no longer maintain her standard of living and has only the minimum wage each month, which the court granted her. She moves into the home of her best friend, Luane (Katiuscia Canoro), and Nico (Anderson Di Rizzi), in the Quintino community, where she had been a patron and run an association to help residents during her wealthy days. To support herself, she spends her weeks working as a housekeeper in several homes. Selminha counts on her lawyer, Dr. César (Erom Cordeiro), to recover her inheritance, but he is hiding a secret that could ruin her plans.
