Tod eines Keilers (2006)

Gottfried Binder, an inconspicuous employee in the pathology department of a university hospital, is told two weeks before his retirement that he has incurable lung cancer and only a few months to live. The diagnosis is delivered by none other than his superior, senior physician Dr. Horst Götze, who is himself a chain smoker and extremely unpopular with all the staff. Binder, a nonsmoker, is so outraged by the injustice of fate that he decides to take justice into his own hands. He makes up his mind to inflict on his superior, Götze, the “deserved” and deadly punishment, and carries out his plan with a blowpipe and a poisoned dart. In the end, the detective lets the perpetrator go unpunished.
