Two men tasked with running a New Year’s Eve event must cope when a booking mistake leaves them without staff.
The story
Obermüller is assigned to oversee a New Year’s Eve event at the Schneemannbaude in Katzhütte, Thuringia, while also training his deputy, Hurtig, in the work of a facility manager. When they arrive, they discover that no staff are there: Obermüller has mistakenly scheduled the cook, Bretschneider, and the cleaning woman, Wunderlich, for January 3 rather than December 30. With the eleven guests arriving, the two men have to take care of them themselves, and their plans quickly run into trouble.
