Full plot (contains spoilers)
Tom is now all alone and unarmed since his fiancée, Laurette, left him, bringing their love story to an end with the words, “You don’t make me dream anymore.” With his washing machine broken, he goes to the laundromat and discovers a motley world where a certain Jean-Pierre “rules the roost.” He will give Tom some very useful advice.
