Tous toqués! (2024)

Sonia works as a customs officer at the border between Quebec and the United States. One day, she confiscates the cooler and kitchen knives belonging to Victor, a French chef living in the United States who had wanted to visit his daughter for her birthday. Sonia is completely uncompromising in her job, and over the years she has made many of the villagers her enemies, causing her daughter, Lili-Beth, to be hated by her classmates. But when Lili-Beth enters a national Little Chefs competition, Sonia has no choice but to track down Victor and ask for his help to spare Lili-Beth another humiliation. Victor has never won a competition in his life, and despite his talent and ambitions, he is reduced to working as a mere kitchen assistant. Initially reluctant to Sonia’s request, he eventually agrees to help her daughter for a weekend, seeing it as a chance to finally be recognized.
