A group of toys must navigate the dangers of a daycare center after being accidentally abandoned by their owner.

The story

As Andy Davis prepares to leave for college, his collection of toys is mistakenly discarded and ends up at the Sunnyside Daycare center. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and their friends find themselves in a new environment where they must navigate the complexities of their situation. While the other toys are tempted by the comforts of the daycare, Woody remains determined to find a way back to their original owner. The toys must decide where their loyalties lie as they face the challenges of their new surroundings and the uncertainty of their future.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

When Andy's mother mistakenly takes a bag of toys to the curb, they are donated to Sunnyside Daycare. While most toys are content with their new home, Woody tries to lead a rescue mission. They encounter Lotso, a strawberry-scented bear who rules the daycare like a dictator. After a series of mishaps, including Buzz being 'brainwashed' into a servant role and the toys being trapped in a high-stakes escape from a furnace, they are eventually rescued by a construction crane. They are transported via a truck driven by Andy's former friend, Sid, back to Andy's house. There, Andy finds them and gives them to his neighbor, Bonnie. The toys begin a new life with a new owner, while learning that the other toys at Sunnyside have improved their lives.
