Woody and his fellow toys embark on a journey of self-discovery and friendship when they encounter a new toy and a long-lost friend.
The story
After being gifted to a new owner, Bonnie, Woody and the other toys must adapt to their new life. When Bonnie creates a new toy named Forky from a spork, Woody finds himself trying to manage Forky's existential crisis. During a family road trip, Forky escapes the RV, leading Woody to chase him. Along the way, Woody is reunited with Bo Peep, a toy who became a 'lost toy' years ago. As the toys navigate the dangers of a carnival and an antique store, Woody must navigate his feelings of being overlooked and decide what it truly means to be a toy and where his loyalties lie.

During a road trip, Forky jumps out of the RV, and Woody follows him into a park and then into an antique store. There, they encounter Gabby Gabby, who wants Woody's voice box. Woody eventually finds Bo Peep and her friends, who are living freely as lost toys. Buzz Lightyear, who got lost in a carnival, joins the group. After a series of adventures involving Duke Caboom and the threat of a store owner's cat, Woody faces a choice.
