A young man and a crew of pirates embark on a voyage to find a legendary treasure in the stars.

The story

On the planet Montressor, Jim Hawkins operates an inn with his mother, Sarah. When a pirate's ship crashes nearby, Jim is given a mysterious sphere. A group of pirates arrives to seize it, forcing Jim, his mother, and their friend Dr. Delbert Doppler to flee. They discover the sphere contains a holographic star map leading to the fabled Treasure Planet, where the pirate Captain Flint hid his treasure. To reach it, they commission the ship RLS Legacy, commanded by Captain Amelia. Jim joins the crew, working alongside the mysterious cook John Silver, as they embark on a perilous journey through the cosmos to find the legendary treasure.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

After the ship RLS Legacy encounters a supernova, Jim is left feeling guilty for a mishap involving the first mate, Mr. Arrow. Upon reaching Treasure Planet, a mutiny erupts as it is revealed that the crew is led by the pirate John Silver. Jim, along with Dr. Doppler, Captain Amelia, and the shape-shifting Morph, must navigate the chaos to retrieve the map. They encounter B.E.N., a malfunctioning robot, and eventually find the treasure room at the planet's core. As the planet begins to self-destruct due to a trap set by Captain Flint, Silver chooses to save Jim's life over the treasure. The survivors escape through a portal, and Jim eventually returns to Montressor. He uses his share of the treasure to help his mother rebuild their inn, while his friends move on to new adventures, and he prepares to join the Interstellar Academy.
