The story
Albi, Tayfun, and Franz are close friends who stand up for one another, united by a passionate love of motorcycles. The bikes bring them happiness, but their high cost becomes a source of trouble: the bank keeps demanding installments, and despite their efforts, money for the repayments remains out of reach. Albi and Tayfun work at a run-down auto repair shop, where they get unemployed Franz a job as a salesman. The friends’ financial difficulties put pressure on their shared passion, as they struggle to meet the payments for the motorcycles they love.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
The three friends Albi, the blond fighter; Tayfun, the carefree ladies’ man from the south; and Franz, the lonely but clever fat guy, always stand up for one another. They are also bound by their passionate love of motorcycles, which bring them both happiness and great sorrow because they cost a lot of money. The bank regularly demands its installments, but despite all their efforts, they cannot come up with the money for the repayments. Albi and Tayfun, who work at a run-down auto repair shop, get the unemployed Franz a job there as a salesman. But when the old master mechanic, Bichler, dies, his son installs a shady manager, who throws the three of them out after a row. Chris makes the friends a dubious offer to refinance their debt. A dodgy car deal goes wrong, and the noose tightens further. Fear of losing their motorcycles clouds the three young men’s judgment. Albi comes up with a plan to stage an accident, which ends in disaster.
