A legendary warrior must choose between a life of peace and a path to eternal glory as he joins a massive siege against the city of Troy.

The story

In 1184 BC, King Agamemnon unites the Greek kingdoms to launch a massive invasion of the historic city of Troy. Among the Greek forces is Achilles, a mighty warrior who is conflicted by Agamemnon's brutal leadership. Seeking guidance from his mother, Thetis, Achilles is faced with a choice: a peaceful life in Larissa or a journey to Troy that promises both death and eternal glory. Driven by the desire for lasting fame, he chooses the latter. As the Greek army invades and takes the Trojan beach, the fate of the city hangs in the balance as the two armies prepare for a brutal confrontation.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

In 1184 BC, King Agamemnon unites the Greek kingdoms to conquer Troy and gain control of the Aegean Sea. Achilles, a warrior seeking glory, joins the campaign after being told by his mother that Troy offers him eternal fame. The war begins with the Greeks taking the Trojan beach. During a parley, a pact is broken when Hector kills Menelaus. The conflict intensifies as Achilles and Briseis become lovers, and the Greek forces face heavy losses. After the death of Patroclus, Achilles seeks revenge, eventually killing Hector in a duel. The Greeks then use a wooden horse to infiltrate the city. During the sack of Troy, the city is devastated, and many are killed or enslaved. In the final confrontation, Achilles is mortally wounded by an arrow from Paris. The film ends with the fall of Troy and a funeral for Achilles.
