Full plot (contains spoilers)
The film tells the story of the murder of Arthur Bloch by Nazi sympathizers in Payerne in 1942, and of the reception in 2009 of Jacques Chessex’s book inspired by this event. The film is set in the 1940s, but also shows “a car or police officers in today’s uniforms in the middle of a historical scene.” These anachronisms are intended to highlight the contemporary relevance of the story.
