Lukas’s easy life with Meike unravels when she realizes how little he is willing to give and kicks him out.
The story
Lukas lives with his girlfriend Meike in an apartment he could not afford on his own. His friends, clothes, and dancing matter more to him, while Meike cleans up after him, runs the household, and speaks well of him to his boss. When Meike has to go to the hospital with a sexually transmitted infection, she learns how little Lukas is willing to give. She kicks him out, and the easy life he had relied on begins to wobble.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Lukas lives with his girlfriend Meike, whose apartment he could never afford on his own. Other things matter more to him, like his buddies, his clothes, and his dancing. Meike cleans up after him, runs the household, and puts in a good word for him with his boss. Only when she has to go to the hospital with a sexually transmitted infection does she learn firsthand how little Lukas is willing to give. Meike kicks Lukas out, and his easy life begins to wobble. Lukas cannot withstand the pressure to finally grow up. Making up with Meike seems to him the only way out—but perhaps only because it seems to be the easiest option.
